If you are needing a Super Bowl Appetizer for tomorrows big game these awesome Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers will be quick, easy and tasty! We really enjoyed making and eating these bad boys. I think I ate 8 of them before taking these pics to share with all of you ha ha! They were spicy but not too spicy and the flavor from the bacon and cheese on top of the jalapeno was amazing!

Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

Jalapenos are so affordable and you can pick up a bunch and slice them in half and feed a crew. I will warn you thought these are so addicting and I promise if you put out a tray of these they will be polished off in no time.

INGREDIENTS (Yield 24 poppers)
1 lb Velveeta
12 Jalapeno Peppers
4 oz Panko Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs

Jalapenos

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400.
Mix eggs and 1/4 cup water in bowl to make egg wash.
Cut jalapenos lengthwise, remove seeds and white membranes with a spoon.
cut Velveeta into 24 1/2″ x 1/2″ x 3″ strips.
Dip Jalapeno half and cheese strip in egg wash.
Sprinkle with and roll in panko crumbs.
Wrap in 1/2 strip of bacon and place on baking sheet.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until bacon is crispy.

I loved that these were just put together and then we popped them in the oven. Quite simple with no frying involved. I will not say that these are healthy but they are so tasty. Jalapenos are one of my favorite foods right after cheese and bacon. Three of my favorites combined for a great appetizer.
