Garlic Bread Ingredients

  • Bread – We used an Italian loaf here, but you could use almost any kind of bread for our Air Fryer Garlic Bread. Try this with a leftover baguette or maybe some slices of Texas toast.
  • Softened Butter
  • Seasonings – To make our butter into a homemade garlic butter, you’ll need garlic and onion powders- at a minimum. You could also add in some herbs: we used parsley for ours but feel free to experiment!
  • Parmesan Cheese

How to make Garlic Bread in Air Fryer

Making garlic bread from scratch in the air fryer is a lot easier than you might think. Here’s all you need to do:
  1. Slice the bread into medallions, mix up the garlic butter, and grate parmesan cheese.
  2. Spread garlic butter on both sides of bread slices and sprinkle cheese over top side of each slice.
  3. Air fry garlic bread slices at 350 degrees for 6 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Sliced bread

Before we make our garlic bread, we have to get a few things prepped first. Take your bread and start slicing it into medallions- go as thick or as thin as you like. In a bowl, mix together your butter, onion powder, garlic powder, and parsley. Grate your parmesan as well.

Take that garlic butter and spread it over both sides of your bread slices.

Don’t forget the cheese! Sprinkle a generous amount over the top side of each slice.

If your air fryer doesn’t warm up as fast, you might want to preheat it to 350 degrees before cooking. Usually, we don’t need to preheat ours to cook garlic bread.

Bread in air fryer

Preheated or not, cook your garlic bread for about 6 minutes at 350 degrees. What you’re looking for is a nice, golden brown color.

When your garlic bread is finished, pull it from the air fryer and let it cool for maybe a minute or two. We want to serve this warm- not blistering hot!

There you go: easy garlic bread cooked about as quickly as frozen garlic bread! Grab some warm marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy.
