If you are needing a quick St Patrick’s Day treat these St Patrick’s Day Marshmallow Leprechaun Hats are quick, easy and a fun treat. The kiddos and I made these cute little marshmallow hats up quickly. With St Patrick’s Day two days away I know many of you are searching for a quick and easy treat to throw together. You can actually decorate these up nicely. The kiddos helped with ours and they are not looking perfect ha ha!

Marshmallow Leprechaun Hats

All that is needed for these Marshmallow Leprechaun Hats is some store bought cookies, marshmallows and some chocolates. Some quick dipping and you have a quick and easy St Patrick’s Day treat.

INGREDIENTS
6 Regular Marshmallows
1/2 cup Dark Cocoa Candy Melting Chips
1/4 cup Green Candy Melting Chips
6 Fudge Stripe Cookies

Marshmallow Leprechaun Hats. Quick and Easy idea for a St Patrick's Day Treat.

DIRECTIONS
Heat Dark Cocoa Candy Chips by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
Insert skewer in a marshmallow.
Dip marshmallow in melted candy and roll to coat completely.
Set dipped marshmallow in the middle of a cookie solid chocolate side up.
Immediately place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to set candy mix.
Heat Green Candy Chips in small bowl by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted.
Transfer Green chocolate to small plastic bag and clip very tiny piece of corner to use for piping.
Pipe Green hat band around hat.
Pipe three dots onto way paper and use a toothpick to make a stem. Repeat this to make 6 shamrocks.
Immediately place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to set shamrocks.
Use a dot of green chocolate to “glue” shamrock to hat.

I think these little Marshmallow Leprechaun Hats are just to adorable for words. The kids and my hubby loved them. Some cookie and marshmallow with chocolate is always a good combination.
