Our pork chops came out moist and full of flavor. I have made so many pork chops recipes and the pork was tough and just plain nasty. Not with this recipe.

2 questions – how long do you fry the chops – just until browned – or until cooked throughout? AND re: the slurry, do I add this into the crock pot at the beginning before cooking begins or after the cooking is done?

I found this recipe on Pinterest and tried it out. I’ve never had much luck with pork chops but we loved these ones! I’m going to feature it on my Use What You Have series in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for a fantastic slow cooker pork chop recipe!

I was just wondering if you used frozen or thawed pork chops?

I cooked these chops tonight, and they were perfect! My husband, who is a very picky eater, said they were the best pork chops he had ever had! I am trying to do the autoimmune protocol, so I swapped out some ingredients (no black pepper, and I used turmeric instead of paprika). I also used Italian seasoning instead of poultry seasoning. I used bone-in chops and cooked them on low for seven hours. They were falling off the bone, so tender, and full of flavor. My husband said he doesn’t see any reason to ever cook pork chops any other way! Thanks so much for providing me with an easy, delicious recipe for the nights I come home late from class!
