With the amount of ads that litter the site, I sincerely doubt the author really pays attention to the comments, unfortunately. Either that or they’re simply too busy in the kitchen to sit down and read the comments.

I apologize, I do get to questions when I can. I am a full-time mom of 5 (two with special needs). I get VERY busy trying to keep up with everything here on the blog. I try to take time each day to get to questions on the blog and on social media. I am sorry if I did not get to answering some of these questions.

I wouldn’t you want the sugar from the coke to penetrate the meat. Im not sure aspartame would have the same flavor

Is the barbecue sauce necessary? Would it be just as good in just the juices from cooking?

This was an excellent recipe, I added a little chilli powder for a bit of kick and it sits nicely with some coleslaw on a brioche bun. Thanks for this! Will be adding this little beauty to my recipe book.
