Years ago I became addicted to Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider. Warm, sweet and tart yumminess is all that comes to mind to describe this yummy drink. Come fall there is nothing more enjoyable than grabbing a warm cup at Starbucks while I am out shopping. One big problem, grabbing a Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider every time I am out shopping could become quite expensive, ha ha!

A few years back a relative was hired as a Barista for Starbucks. As soon as I heard the news, I contacted her to fill me in on how to make my favorite fall drink. I finally had the ticket to savings, ha ha. I will admit that many times I tried making a similar drink at home by purchasing cider and trying to “doctor” it up. Every attempt was a failure.

I was amazed to learn Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider is not made with Cider, in fact it is made with Motts Apple Juice. Additionally it has a secret ingredient that I was unaware of. That secret ingredient happens to be Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Syrup. You can snag your very own bottle of Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Syrup Bottle at your local Starbucks (I pay around $12 per bottle- pump included).  Or if you prefer to shop online you can also purchase your Starbucks® Cinnamon Dolce Syrup (1-L.) with a pump included for just $9.95 plus $4.00 shipping from Amazon. So just $13.95 shipped.  Then be ready to whip up your very own DIY Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider. This bottle will last for a very long time (even if you are addicted like myself, lol). Each 12 oz cup of DIY Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider takes 3 Pumps of syrup which is equivalent to about 3 Teaspoons of syrup. So stop by Starbucks and snag your Bottle of Cinammon Dolce Syrup or drop your order on Amazon and be all set for some warm and tart copycat Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider. Check out the entire DIY Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider recipe below.

    Ingredients
    2 Cups Motts Apple Juice
3 Pumps of Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
Caramel Topping (I use a squeeze bottle)
    Whipped Cream

Place Apple Juice in Syrup in Microwaveable Container and stir
    Microwave for approximately 2 Minutes
    Top with Whip Cream
    Add Caramel Topping

There you have it, DIY Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider Receipe for you to make at home. Great to enjoy a warm drink for yourself at home or consider serving for a Fall get together or possibly an office party this fall.

I used to work at Starbucks. We used tree top apple juice and cinnamon syrup, not cinnamon dolce, but I’m sure it would be good with the dolce. just a little richer. :)

Would it be good with Jordan skinny syrup version of cinnamon dolce and light apple juice to save even more calories?

Oh my goodness these are my favorite. I could never get them quite the same at home. Especially with cold season ahead, this would definitely soothe any sore throat. Thank you so much, I can’t wait to try it.

You know it’s one of those rainy and chilly days and it’s finally starting to feel like fall and I keep thinking that I need to go make me some apple cider! I live out in the sticks with no Starbucks in sight and your recipe sounds so amazingly good! Might just order me up some syrup and get after this in two days when it arrives :) I’d love if you’d consider linking it up with my link party – Link It or Lump It http://www.dreamalittlebigger.com/post/link-party-9.html . I hope that you’ll link this snazzy beverage up :)

I worked at Starbucks in college and this was a customer favorite. One woman came in every morning for one!
