Easter Deviled Eggs

These spring colored deviled eggs are tasty and fun at the same time. Giving your hard boiled eggs some color is so simple. Your guests and family will love them. When I made these colored Easter deviled eggs last week, my family consumed the whole batch. It must be the color, ha ha! Easter is always a holiday that I love to make fun treats and foods for dinner. Normally I will just make up a batch of plain deviled eggs or our Easter Chick Deviled Eggs but this year our dinner table with have some color thanks to these eggs. They are just SO Pretty!

Colored Easter Deviled Eggs- These eggs are filled with traditional deviled egg filling but the whites get a splash of color! Super fun Easter dinner idea.

The ingredients needed to make these fun colored Easter Deviled Eggs are few. Just your normal ingredients needed for your eggs and some food coloring. Yes, it is that simple. We used some neon food coloring I had on hand. You can leave them in longer to get darker colors or pull them out sooner for paler color.

INGREDIENTS
12 Eggs
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Sweet Pickle Relish
4 tsp Mustard
Salt and pepper, for taste
Food coloring.

Colored Easter Deviled Eggs- These eggs are filled with traditional deviled egg filling but the whites get a splash of color! Super fun Easter dinner idea.

DIRECTIONS
Place eggs in a pan and cover with cold water.
Bring to a boil, cover and turn off heat.
Allow to sit for 9 minutes.
Fill with cold water to stop cooking.
Remove shells.
Slice eggs in half lengthwise.
Remove yolks and place in a bowl.
Fill bowls with 1 cup cold water and 6 drops of food coloring.
Divide cooked egg white halves evenly between the different colors.
Allow whites to sit for 15 minutes or until desired color is reached.
Place Colored egg whites on paper towels to dry.
Mash yolks with a fork and stir in mayonnaise, pickle relish, and mustard.
Salt and pepper, to taste.
Mix until consistency is smooth and creamy.
Transfer mixture to zippered bag or piping bag and clip corner for piping.
Pipe mixture into cooked egg whites and refrigerate until ready to serve.
