Substitutions
Out of an ingredient for our Breakfast Sausage Patties? We’ve got a couple of substitutions you can try!
- Pork – Fresh ground pork is what is used to make our sausage recipe. However, you can easily make sausage from all sorts of ground meat: beef sausage patties, chicken sausage patties- just adjust spices and seasonings to taste.
- Seasoning – Breakfast Sausage seasoning is a bit of a tricky thing to try and substitute around. You really want to keep the herb-y stuff like sage and poultry seasoning in there: if you’re out of those, try using other herbs like rosemary or thyme.
