This Funfetti Donut Recipe was a hit in our house. The whole family is a huge fan of donuts. We are super excited to be having a Dunkin Donuts open near us in the next few weeks. The whole family is waiting patiently for it to open, ha ha. I am excited but worry that Dunkin Donuts will be tempting us to purchase donuts more often. That means my budget will be hurting a bit if we do, ha ha. I will need to deter them with making yummy donuts at home. We all love our easy Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bites Recipe (they are similar to Dunkin Donuts Munchkins). This past week I whipped up this Super easy Funfetti Donut recipe to prove to them that we can enjoy donuts at home on the cheap.

Our Funfetti Donuts looked just like they were purchased at a donut shop. I think they tasted just as good… if not better. Plus… making homemade donuts at home saves me quite a few $$’s.

In a small bowl just big enough to dip donuts, combine glaze ingredients and stir until smooth.

Decorate with sprinkles if desired.
Wait for glaze to set.

My donut pan has saved me from purchasing store bought donuts countless times. If you are needing a donut pan, I highly recommend this Wilton Nonstick Donut Pan. You can purchase yourself a donut pan from Amazon or use a coupon at Michael’s to score one locally.
