How to prepare our Crispy Chicken Wings

Before you even think about tossing your wings into the air fryer, make sure you pat them as dry as you can. The drier you can get the wings, the easier they’ll crisp up once you start frying them.

Once you’ve dealt with the wings, you can start focusing on your seasonings. Toss all your spices together in a bowl and start mixing them together. Again, stick around to the end of the post for a few other seasonings/spice blends that are worth your time!

Once you’ve mixed the seasonings, give the wings a quick toss to ensure they’re all well-coated in spices. After that, it’s time to fry! Start by frying your wings at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes- making sure to shake the basket halfway through cooking. Once the 25 minutes is up, crank the temp up to 420 degrees and fry for another 5 minutes. Once they’re done cooking, get these puppies into some Homemade Buffalo Sauce ASAP to ensure a good coating!

  • Lemon Pepper Wings – Toss your wings in some lemon pepper seasoning before frying to get a little taste of Atlanta. No seasoning? Sub in some onion powder, black pepper, dried thyme, and some lemon zest.
