Homemade Magic Shell Recipe for Ice Cream

If you plan on enjoying some ice cream treats this summer you will love this Homemade Magic Shell Recipe. My kiddos love magic shell on their ice cream. In the past I have purchased bottles and bottles of this stuff. The price always adds on quite a bit to our enjoying ice cream at home.
Homemade Magic Shell Recipe for Ice Cream
Making homemade magic shell at home is so simple and so much more cost effective then purchasing all those individual bottles. I was a bit skeptical about giving this idea a try. My hubby and I were both amazed that we could quickly make up our own homemade magic shell at home.
I really like that I can make up a bunch and store the Homemade Magic Shell in a mason jar and it will last (not that anything really lasts around here, ha ha).
It is amazing that this Homemade Magic Shell Recipe only requires 2 ingredients. yup… Just Two! And the time to make amounts to almost none. Perfect recipe if you ask me.
INGREDIENTS
2/3 cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/3 cup Coconut Oil
DIRECTIONS
If you do not want to use coconut oil, you can substitute vegetable oil or butter.
Melt ingredients by heating in microwave for 30 seconds and stirring and repeating until melted and smooth.
Once melted, you can transfer to mason jar.
Can be stored in air tight jar for up to 1 month.
