It’s super hot here in Cincy so my daughter and I made this yummy Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade Recipe. Full of tons of flavor and great to enjoy on a HOT day. We love lemonade and have been making many different variations lately. We really liked our Mango Lemonade, CopyCat Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade, CopyCat Chick-fil-A Lemonade Recipe and also our CopyCat Applebee’s Kiwi Lemonade Recipe. This one is over the top with blueberry and lemonade flavor.
Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade Recipe
Since I was little I have always loved lemonade. Lemonade has always been one of those drinks that I need to have to quench my thirst. Maybe I really just recall all the $$’s I made from my lemonade stands as a child, ha ha.
If you are looking to make a refreshing drink, grab some blueberries (they are on sale again this week at Aldi), sugar, lemon juice or fresh lemons and some sparkling water.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Lemon Juice (about 8 lemons)
1 tsp Lemon Zest
6 oz Blueberries
4 cup Club Soda, Seltzer Water, Sparkling Water or Water
Ice
DIRECTIONS
Puree lemon juice, lemon zest, blueberries, and sugar in food processor or blender.
Pour mixture (or optionally strain mixture) into large pitcher.
Add water and ice to fill pitcher.
Overall I am really liking the blueberries and lemon together. Not just a plain lemonade. I really like the addition of the carbonation too!
