Pineapple Lemonade

We love to make lots of different flavored beverages to enjoy when the hot weather arrives. I am a HUGE fan of iced tea and lemonades. You can make so many different variations and they are always so refreshing. I shared our Raspberry Iced Tea with you last week before we headed out on vacation. It is one of my favorite summer beverages.

This past week, we had a great $0.99 each fresh Pineapple sale. I bought about 10 of them, lol. I am a pineapple lover. I used one to make the 2 Ingredient Pineapple Sorbet that I shared here on the blog. I plan to use another for some of my Mini Pineapple Upside Down Cakes. My hubby and kiddos LOVE those.

Since I had so many pineapples and I also had lemons on hand, I decided to make us this Pineapple Lemonade to enjoy while we were relaxing on the porch last week. I knew my entire family would enjoy it since they too are pineapple fans. They like when I have summer drinks besides the basics. The flavor you find in this pineapple lemonade is perfect. It’s a true blend of pineapple and lemon. You will find it a bit sweet but not overly sweet. I think it is perfect.

Since we only use 3 ingredients in this lemonade, it is so simple to make. I used a fresh pineapple but I am sure you could use canned as well. I used fresh lemon juice. I am sure you could substitute with store bought. I used a brown sugar, you could also use just a basic white sugar too.

    1. Hi Jillie! I would think about 3.5 to 4 cups of frozen chunks would be the equivalent. Hope that helps:)
