Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups

Everyone is going to love these Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups! My hubby could not keep his hands off these. I had to make three batches just to be able to try these myself, ha ha. It’s been so cold and nothing beats the cold better than soup and grilled cheese. The French Toast Roll-Ups Recipe I shared with you has been such a hit (requests a couple times per week from my kiddos). I figured I would put the same twist on my kids favorite sandwich… Grilled Cheese.
Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups
These Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups are so easy. Just grab your usual grilled cheese ingredients. Oh and do not forget the tomato soup. Yum! Yes, if you follow my blog you will know I HAD to dip, ha ha! Dipping these Grilled Cheese Roll-ups is a MUST for me. Luckily I had a bunch of Tomato Soup on hand. I will admit I did not have the patience to make my Slow Cooker Creamy Tomato Soup… maybe next time we make these Roll-Ups!
I normally purchase bulk cheese slices as our household eats a TON of cheese. When we have grilled cheese sandwiches I really like the Kraft Cheese Singles. The cheese always sets up so well. My hubby laughs at me but… there is something about Kraft Singles that makes a grilled cheese perfect and cheesy.
INGREDIENTS
6 slices of Bread
6 American Cheese Singles
1 tbsp Butter
DIRECTIONS
Roll each slice of bread to flatten.
Trim crust off of bread.
Place cheese slice on bread and roll up
Heat skillet over medium low and melt butter.
Place rollups in pan seam side down.
Cook until brown turning frequently throughout cooking.
Serve immediately.
You will be oh so tempted to add in an additional piece of cheese. One piece of cheese makes these Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups very cheesy. There is no need for a second piece (you would probably have a mess, ha ha).
These Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups would make a great lunch, dinner or snack. The kids and adults will love them. I find them to be a great little finger food. Hey! Who doesn’t like a grilled cheese?

Hi I really liked the look of the sauce dip, is there any special recipe?
Trying to figure out how they would hold up for lunch for my kid. If I put it inside a thermo to keep it warm? Any ideas?
I tried this and LOVED it. It really is super easy to make. The only thing that I did/will do differently is that I used Pam Spray on the pan instead of butter. It was a lot less greasy and lasted longer on the pan!!! I will make it again.
What fun little Roll Ups! Hope you are having a great day and thank you so much for sharing this awesome post with Full Plate Thursday.

EVERYone loves grilled cheese. :)
Your rollups are wonderful…your photos are wonderful, too.
The only thing I’d do differently is add a little mayo to the bread before cheese and rolling.
I think we will have these and soup for dinner. Thanks…
