Chocolate Covered Bacon

This Chocolate Covered Bacon is incredible. If you have yet to try chocolate covered bacon… you MUST! A couple years back the hubby and I were shopping at a local candy company and tried some chocolate covered bacon. The hubby and I both LOVED it and HAD to bring some home to the kiddos. BIG mistake ha ha. They all loved it and beg for chocolate covered bacon all of the time. Honestly I had never made it at home and just paid the small fortune for it at the candy store. In the past I would purchase and place the yummy chocolate covered bacon in their Easter Baskets. This year I decided I would make my own to save.

Who doesn’t LOVE bacon? We all know it is not very healthy eating when we indulge. But, why not treat ourselves from time to time. If I could just get my hubby to understand that enjoying bacon is something that needs to be done in moderation, ha ha!

Chocolate Covered Bacon Recipe
I am so excited to add Chocolate Covered Bacon to my hubbies and to the kiddos Easter Baskets. Normally they only get just a couple pieces. Since I am making it myself this year, I can place quite a few pieces in each basket. I just wrapped them in cello pretzel bags and tied on a bow. I have done this with the Chocolate Covered Peeps, Homemade Reeses Eggs, Homemade Coconut Eggs and Easter Egg Cake Bites. Savings and homemade goods for theri baskets. SCORE!
