If you are needing a easy dinner or appetizer, this Pull Apart Pizza Bread Recipe will be perfect for you. So simple, quick, easy and no real mess. This past weekend my teenaged kiddos had some friends over and I realized I was fresh out of frozen pizzas in the freezer. Yikes… How did that happen? I was not going to bust my weekly budget and order delivery. So I was brainstorming on how to keep these pizza hungry teens from convincing me to order delivery. I really loved the ease of the Pepperoni Pizza Crescents I have made but, I was needing something more pizza like.
Pull Apart Pizza Bread
Luckily I recalled having some pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and some biscuits in the fridge. I figured I would whip them up a pizza treat filled with real flavor and yummy cheese.
INGREDIENTS
2 can Biscuits
7 oz package Pepperoni
2 1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Parmesan
2 tbsp Parsley Flakes
1 tbsp Oregano
1/3 cup Olive Oil
1 tsp Minced Garlic
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut biscuits in fourths.
Cut the pepperoni into fourths.
Combine oil, garlic, oregano and parsley flakes in a large bowl and mix well.
Add all remaining ingredients to bowl and toss to coat everything.
Spray a bundt pan with non-stick spray.
Distribute mixture in pan evenly and bake for 35-40 minutes until top is browned.
This Pull Apart Pizza bread is now my go to recipe when the quick and easy frozen pizzas are gone. I even taught the teens how to make it themselves when I made the second bundt pan. They really liked it. I am thinking next time we will make an adult Pizza Pull Apart with some peppers, onions and jalapenos. yum!
I am thinking this Pull Apart Pizza Bread would be great when entertaining! No forks needed to dig right in. I sliced ours in slices and everyone just grabbed and pulled it apart.
