This Pomegranate Strawberry Smoothie Recipe will be great to enjoy for breakfast or all day long! This smoothie is packed with vitamins that will make you feel great! We enjoyed so many great foods while vacationing over the holidays. We are trying to be a bit more health conscious after consuming quite a bit of junk. We have been eating and drinking many different fruits and veggies. I really enjoy a Strawberry Mango Smoothie often. Since Pomegranate has recently become one of my favorite fruits I was eager to make a fresh Pomegranate and Strawberry Smoothie. The hubby made me fresh pomegranate juice a few months ago and I have been addicted since.
Pomegranate Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
This Pomegranate Strawberry Smoothie is sweet and tangy at the same time. YUM! Making your own smoothies at home can save you a bundle. The cost of a smoothie at the smoothie shops always shocks me.
The ingredients needed for your Pom and Strawberry Smoothie are very simple. I used frozen strawberries but plan to use fresh as soon as the strawberry costs are not through the roof.
1/2 cup Pomegranate Juice
2 tsp Honey
3/4 cup frozen unsweetened Strawberries
1/3 cup Yogurt
4 Ice Cubes
Whisk honey into pomegranate juice until completely dissolved.
Add pomegranate mixture and remaining ingredients to blender.
Run for 2 minutes or until smooth.
Pour into a glass and garnish with pomegranate arils if desired.
