How to make Traditional Turkey Rub

To make turkey rub,  combine the ingredients in a small bowl, rub olive oil all over the turkey then rub the seasoning mixture to achieve an even coating. So easy!

We have used this rub recipe for chicken and turkey. Go ahead and make a double or triple batch to keep in your spice cabinet. It’s not just for turkey. If you would like to add a bit of sweetness, add in some brown sugar. If you would like a bit of spice, add some chili powder.

Note: Always be sure to use a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part to check for an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees.
