Orange Fluff Salad
We’ve got another tasty dessert salad for you all today! Dessert Jello salad recipes are always so fun to make: yeah, they’re not as healthy as your typical green salad, but they’re so delicious. There’s plenty of these salads to pick from- Jello salads, fruit salads- but a lot of them become some sort fluff salad. Today’s recipe is another one of those fluff salads: we’ve got a creamsicle flavored Orange Fluff Salad.
This Orange Jello Fluff Salad is a simple dessert that works off a classic flavor combo: orange and vanilla. We wanted our Orange Fluff to be an especially sweet treat, so we made this Orange Fluff Salad without cottage cheese. Plenty of folks use cottage cheese in their recipes and I’m sure they taste great with that little bit of saltiness from the cheese. We wanted to take ours in an especially dessert-y direction that would taste like a creamsicle dessert.
The best part of this delicious orange dessert recipe is that most of the ingredients are either pantry or fridge staples. I’ve usually got cream cheese on hand and we keep plenty of Jello and marshmallows in the pantry. In short, this is not a difficult recipe to make or shop for. We hope you all give it a try: fluff salad has always been a crowd favorite, so it would be perfect at your next get-together!

Our Creamy Strawberry Banana Salad has always been a summertime favorite! Fresh strawberries and banana slices are coated and tossed in a sweet yogurt and pudding dressing- sounds delicious, right? This is a must-make salad recipe for any potlucks or summer BBQs you have planned!
It’s hard to beat the classics, especially when you’re talking about Ambrosia Salad. Cherries, oranges, pineapple, and coconut tossed with marshmallows and whipped topping- everything about that sounds great! Keep it simple or add in some more fruits like grapes or strawberries and top up with some pecans if you’d like.
Jello Cottage Cheese Salad might sound strange at first but trust me when I say that it works great! The sweetness of crushed pineapple and strawberry Jello mix plays off that salty flavor of the cottage cheese perfectly. This creamy, fluffy, and sweet salad tastes great on a warm spring or summer day!
Orange Jello Fluff Salad Ingredients
Orange Slices – We like using these Dole Mandarin Oranges. These fridge packs give us the perfect amount of orange slices that we need.
Whipped Topping – Like Cool Whip.
How to make Orange Fluff Salad
Add the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla to a bowl and beat together until fluffy.
Add in the orange Jello mix and beat together with other ingredients.
Fold in orange slices, mini marshmallows, and whipped topping until combined. Optionally chill in the fridge before serving.
We’re starting things off kind of like a cheesecake: add the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract to a bowl. Grab a hand or stand mixer and use it to beat those ingredients together until nice and fluffy. At that point, add in the Jello mix and beat that in- it’ll turn a bright orange color.
Now it’s time to add in the remaining ingredients. Drop in the mandarin orange slices, the marshmallows, and your whipped topping. Using a rubber spatula, start folding everything together.
Try to not fold too vigorously- we want to keep some of that “fluff” from the Cool Whip. Eventually, everything will fold into one consistent mixture.
Serve this Orange Fluff up straight away or let it chill in the fridge for a little bit to the let the flavors meld a bit. Either way, enjoy!
