Strawberry Kiwi Slushie
We have had a couple warm days here in Cincinnati this week. I feel so spoiled. I just wish the sunshine and warmer temps were here to stay.
Spring and summer really keeps me in a super good mood. I tend to accomplish so much more. I am sure many of you can relate. The winter blues can be tough come the end of the season.
During the warm months, we make tons of cold refreshing treats. I make tons of homemade ice creams, popsicles, and slushies. One of our favorite slushies is our Tropical Slushie. It is filled with great flavor and so super refreshing. We also make Watermelon Slushies. YUM! They are perfect on a hot summer day.
Since we had warm weather, my daughter and I decided to make some slushies yesterday. This time, we made Strawberry Kiwi Slushies. Two of my all time favorite fruits made into a slush drink.
This Strawberry Kiwi Slushie is so super simple to make. You ill only need strawberries, kiwis, a small amount of sugar, and some water. If you have a powerful blender, it will be easier to breakdown the frozen fruit.
(Yield: 4 8 oz servings)

1 lb Strawberries hulled, chopped and frozen
3 tbsp Sugar, divided
12 tbsp Water, divided

I know summer is not here yet but this super refreshing slush will be perfect when all the warm weather arrives. You will LOVE it!
