on Feb 18, 2015, Updated Aug 29, 2024
This homemade St Patrick’s Day Gum Drops Recipe is so fun and perfect for the holiday. Having fun sweets for our candy dish for holidays is always a must. We made Valentine’s Day Gum Drops a few weeks back, they were so popular. I think I enjoyed them more than the kiddos. Plus I found that they get even better after a few days, ha ha! So, time to hide myself a private stash.

Wow these look fantastic!!! Can’t believe they are homemade! And I would never think that there’s applesauce in them! What a great idea!
How adorable–and yummy-looking! I love that they have applesauce in them, so we can convince ourselves that they will count toward one of the 27 or so fruits and veggies that we’re supposed to eat every day! And I also love how easy they’ll be to prepare… no pectin, corn syrup, or candy thermometer required! xoxo
How cute are these? I love it, I have a thing for shamrocks! ha ha. I think I may have to try these!
Did you find your shamrock cutter online or find it a local store?
I have perfect size holiday cutters, I’ll have to play at Christmas time.
Hi Kelly! Thanks much! We thought they were quite adorable too! I found my cookie cutter set at a local bake supply shop. I did add a link to a set that is available on Amazon that is very similar to the one I have. We are looking forward to making some little Easter bunnies and carrots for our kiddos Easter baskets this year. I think they will be adorable. Have fun making yours and thanks for dropping by.
Thank you for the info. :) I didnt even think about a bake shop! I want to try and buy it local, instant gratification! ha ha
