Easy Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Since I can remember I have always been addicted. You may be able to pick up on my addictions since I have shared Homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies and the Peanut Butter Cheese-ball. I have probably told you about my love for peanut butter many times.

Peanut Butter Pie is AMAZING. There is nothing better than pie with a cup of coffee for dessert. Last week we were needing a dessert for some company that was dropping in. I had planned to just purchase a store bought pie because I was in a pinch for timing. After hitting the grocery and seeing the recent pricing on pies I decided to come home and just whip up this yummy Peanut Butter Pie at home. I saved and it tasted much better than a store-bought would have.

Now that spring is here I know we will be enjoying more cold pies. This Peanut Butter Pie Recipe will become a frequently made pie. Winter is for warm comforting pies. Cold pies are great for spring and summer weather. I know this Homemade Peanut Butter Pie would be great for an Easter Dessert. I am thinking we may have to make some for the holiday.

Do you have a favorite spring and summer pie? I plan to make a few different types for us to enjoy this summer. I know strawberry pie is another favorite pie during the summer for my family. This Peanut Butter pie was a hit with my hubby and kiddos though. I see it having to be made quite often.

Going to make this for this weekend but unless I missed it, what size pie plate? It sounds so easy and yummy and I’ll play around with the sugar and pb amounts as I go!! Thank you for the recipe!!

I am going to make this for my husband who loves Peanut Butter, either smooth or chunky. I cannot eat it; it does not taste good straight out of the jar. I eat either Almond or Cashew Butter, usually Almond Butter. If you want to cut calories, use Neufchatl instead. I have Diabetes, so I’m always looking 4 lower sugar varieties. He should be on a diet, but isn’t. I am going to use the suggestions for less being better than more. Thanks ladies.

i have made it several times and use only 1/4 cup powd. Sugar, and 1/2 to 3/4 cup PB. I freeze it. And slightly thaw before serving. Last night I substituted Nutella for PB. Yummy!!

I made this today, but I used 1/2 cup Almond butter & 1/2 cup Peanut butter. I also used a graham cracker crust because my granddaughter don’t like peanut butter and chocolate together…strange:-) everyone can add Hershey’s chocolate syrup on theirs. It was delicious.

I made this today for my son for his birthday. Looks delicious but I found the filling a bit sweet for my taste. Will try to make it again but try to get it less sweet somehow. Can I use just peanuts for the peanut butter?

Too much peanut butter taste-tasted good but almost like a bite of PB out of the jar.Are you sure it is supposed to be 1 cup PB?

Made a graham cracker crust instead and melted some chocolate to put on top and then let it harden. Came out great!
