Caramel Apple Dip

If you are looking for some dips to add to your appetizer menu consider making this yummy Caramel Apple Dip Recipe. This recipe is so simple but packed full of flavor. My daughter and I love anything caramel apple and this dip fits us perfect. Quick & Easy (two of my favorite words) ha ha! I like having fruit as one of our appetizers when we have guests so this Caramel Apple Dip seemed perfect for us to serve up for our family get together.

Caramel Apple Dip

I usually purchase caramel to dip our apples in but this cream cheese based dip is so yummy. The addition of the vanilla and brown sugar really adds a great flavor for dipping our apple slices in. Our guests finished off the tray of apples and most of the dip quite quickly so I assume they really liked this quick and simple recipe too!

8 oz softened package of Cream Cheese
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla
Caramel Ice Cream Topping

Mix cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla until all ingredients are well mixed.
Transfer to bowl and drizzle with caramel topping before serving.

I always save slicing my apples for last. I quite often will keep them from browning by dipping them in some lemon juice first. You can see my post on How to Keep Apples from Browning here.

This holiday season when you are entertaining be sure to have a fruit and dip on your menu (it’s always a favorite at our parties). Sweet and healthy at the same time, lol.
