Slow Cooker Coke Pulled Pork
We have added soda to our Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork and Coke to our Slow Cooker Coke Ribs quite frequently. This time around, we decided to add Coca-Cola to our pulled pork. I am super excited that we gave it a try.
This Coke adds for a nice flavor to the pulled pork and this Crock-pot meal was just so super simple to make. I knew if I added Coke, my entire family would enjoy. Yes, they have quite the addiction to Coca-Cola specifically.
Every time we have cooked with soda, the flavors are amazing. It’s so wild to think that soda can add as much flavor as it does.
This recipe was so good that we have decided to make a crock for our July 4th BBQ. This stuff is so good on a slider roll with a bit of bbq sauce.
Grab yourself a pork shoulder, some Coke, and a few spices. You can toss this in the slow cooker and let it cook all day. No need to be in the kitchen cooking for hours.

How many pounds is used in this recipe?
Great recipe. Have made it several times. But……why won’t you answer your readers’ real questions?
With the amount of ads that litter the site, I sincerely doubt the author really pays attention to the comments, unfortunately. Either that or they’re simply too busy in the kitchen to sit down and read the comments.
I apologize, I do get to questions when I can. I am a full-time mom of 5 (two with special needs). I get VERY busy trying to keep up with everything here on the blog. I try to take time each day to get to questions on the blog and on social media. I am sorry if I did not get to answering some of these questions.
This is such a family favorite at our house! Was wondering if you have any tips on cooking this in the oven for a larger bach. We have a family reunion coming up and I want to bring this!!

Can you use Coke Zero or Cherry Coke Zero?
I wouldn’t you want the sugar from the coke to penetrate the meat. Im not sure aspartame would have the same flavor
Can you substitute a different soda if you don’t have coke?

Excellent easy recipe, thank you very much!!!
This was an excellent recipe, I added a little chilli powder for a bit of kick and it sits nicely with some coleslaw on a brioche bun. Thanks for this! Will be adding this little beauty to my recipe book.
