Raspberry Lemonade Slurpee Recipe

This Raspberry Lemonade Slurpee Recipe will surely cool you off this summer. My kiddos and I are huge fans of Slurpee’s. They love Blue Slurpees so I decided it was time to make them at home rather than taking a trip to Speedway. I honestly think they ask to make that trip almost every evening. Slurpee’s can be quite cheap at Speedway during the summer so I usually do not mind. I do wish they would ask to take the trip before I get in my comfy clothes at night, ha ha!
Raspberry Lemonade Slurpee Recipe
Making homemade Slurpee’s is great when the kiddos have their friends over in the summer. These yummy drinks will cool them off. Plus they always think they are scoring a special treat, ha ha. Oh and they are so cheap to make at home.
The ingredients to make homemade Slurpee’s are quite simple. Grab some Kool-Aid (we used Blue Raspberry so everyone could have Blue, ha ha), sugar and club soda. Pretty simple to make yourself.
INGREDIENTS
2 cup cold Club Soda
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Blue Raspberry Lemonade Kool-Aid Drink Mix
3 cups Crushed Ice
8 drops Neon Blue Food Coloring
DIRECTIONS
Ideally chill club soda in freezer for 15 minutes.
Blend together club soda, sugar, food coloring and Kool-Aid powder in a blender.
