It’s fall, and pumpkin spice recipes are in season. Pumpkin desserts like my Triple Layer Pumpkin Pie and No-Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake are great for serving at the end of a meal. But, what about the beginning appetizers? This Fluffy Pumpkin Dip is perfect for a starter.
Serve it for a fall dinner party, an office get together or as a Thanksgiving appetizer. I also find easy pumpkin dip perfect for an afternoon snack. You can use graham crackers, grapes, apple slices, or pears for dipping. My favorite food for dipping is Vanilla Wafers or ginger snaps. But, all of the above work great to serve with this dip.
I love how quick and easy dips are to prepare. Fluffy Pumpkin Dip can be chilling in the refrigerator in about 5 minutes because it only uses 4 Ingredients. It’s good for about 3-5 days if covered and refrigerated. I am not sure how much longer it will last because it never lasts very long in our home.
I find Fluffy Pumpkin Dip to be light and flavorful. The pumpkin spice adds a perfect amount of fall flavor, and It’s easy to dip or spread. When I serve Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip, dipping is a bit more difficult due to its thickness.
Ingredients To Make Fluffy Pumpkin Dip
- Pumpkin Puree
- Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
How to Make Fluffy Pumpkin Dip
First, combine pumpkin, vanilla pudding mix, and pumpkin pie spice in a medium-sized bowl. You can use store-bought or Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice.
Next, fold in the Cool-Whip. If you prefer, you can make Homemade Whipped Cream. I have never used it in my pumpkin dip because I like the simplicity of using stabilized Whipped topping.
Then, refrigerate for about one hour before serving. I add a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and a dollop of whipped topping to dress the dip up a bit.
Fluffy Pumpkin Dip
- 15 oz Pumpkin Puree
- 1 pkg (3.4 oVanilla Instant Pudding
- 2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 8 oz Cool Whip thawed
- In a medium bowl, combine pumpkin, pudding mix and spice.
- Mix until well blended.
- Fold in Cool Whip until blended.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
