  1. I’ve tried a lot of different PTL recipes, but this is definitely my favourite version. I just have one tiny question before I go. Usually, I make these for one, as I’m the only Starbucks-crazed person in my family. Halfing everything is fine, but I was wondering, does that mean halving the tea brewing time as well? Thanks!

  2. Hey there. I love that Starbucks passion tango iced tea. Problem is I buy them way too much. So thank you for this recipe. I tweaked it just a bit with a new find in target. I went in to pick up the Tazo passion tea bags and instead I found Tazo passion tea concentrate. All you need to do is add equal parts of water to the concentrate and add ice and you have the iced tea without needing to brew the tea or waiting for it to cool. Amazing! So easy and quick with your recipe. And the perfect at home substitution for Starbucks.

  3. I made this without doing the long wait & I didn’t add ice.. its great! I bet it would be better with ice if ppl knew how to refill ice cube trays!

  4. I love this drink!!! My new favorite! I used crystal light lemonade, sugar substitute, and just a splash of vanilla! This taste sinful, but it’s sugar free, and only 5 calories.

  5. The passion tea lemonade is seriously so good. If I don’t get coffee at starbucks, then I get that passion tea lemonade.

  6. I am a HUGE fan of Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade! I’m excited to give this recipe a try because I’ll be honest it gets expensive buying so much of it!

  7. One suggestion concerning the vanilla extract … it will have more flavor enhancement if you add it after the tea cools down. Adding it to hot liquids sometimes reduces the flavor level in it. Just a thought … I enjoy your recipes and always look forward to your recreations! Thanks! Happy summertime!!

  8. So, you don’t actually need any vanilla. If you want a true Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade, we don’t put any vanilla in our iced teas, unless asked.

The recipe for a Grande Passion Tea Lemonade is simply, passion tea, lemoande, 4 pumps of classic syrup, and ice. Shaken.

The sugar would suffice as the classic syrup, but no vanilla is needed, unless desired :)

    1. This recipe is Great, and almost dead of but substitute the sugar and the lemonade and can even leave out the vanila for the Lemonade MIO one little squirt or two? to taste. Taste just the same. If not better and it’s sugar free then..

  9. Great recipe! One of my best friends LOVES this tea – I can’t wait to share this recipe with her. Maybe I’ll make a batch up for the next time she comes over as a surprise! ! Erika @ yayforhandmade.com

  10. Love lemonade with tea. Thanks for posting this Starbucks alternative recipe. Pinned. Visitng from All Things Thurs. blog party.

  11. Girl you had me at Starbucks!! I love their teas and coffee but then who doesn’t? I’ll be sure to keep this recipe at home. Ty for posting, i’d love if you would come share this at our link party.

  12. Thank you so much for this recipe. I am a long time fan of Tazo passion tea, but I have only drank it hot. I never knew about the Starbuck’s lemonade but now I can try this recipe for a lot cheaper. I made sure to pin it, and will be sharing it with my hubby. By the way I am visit via Titus 2sday. I hope you have a great week.

  13. This recipe looks great and easy. I love a good lemonade during the hot weather days. Thanks for an inexpensive alternative.

  14. Thanks for this post. This is my favorite non-coffee drink from Starbucks! Also… this drink is even MORE amazing with raspberry syrup. :) You can buy a bottle of raspberry syrup and then you do even need to add the sugar and vanilla. Saves a lot of time. :) I just use the iced passion tea, lemonade and Starbucks raspberry syrup.
