Apple and pumpkin recipes are always in abundance for these next few months. Our family LOVES apple desserts. We have shared many of our favorites here with you this past couple of years.
I was making our Homemade Apple Pie Filling for a video the other day and my kiddos were super excited to know that I was going to be making fall apple desserts soon.
Since I had some homemade apple pie filling after filming, I made their favorite Apple Pie Fries. They were happy campers.
The hubby and I LOVE apple pie! Apple Pie is my favorite fall dessert. I have made and shared our Dutch Apple Pie with you here on the blog. We love it! I realized I had yet to share our Apple Pie Bars recipe with you yet.

These apple pie bars are amazing!
Is 1/14 teaspoon nutmeg correct?
So is the recipe correct? Does not list baking powder!!!!!! I was just reading a comment while it’s in my oven baking!! I sure hope I didn’t ruin a bunch of ingredients if you did not put in baking powder and it should have it! Grr!!
Hi Maddie! No Baking Powder is needed in the recipe. Your bars will be great. Have a great evening and enjoy.
In the blog part of this you say this recipe will use Butter, sugar, flour, baking powder, eggs, etc. However, when you give the actual recipe it does not mention baking powder. Should it have baking powder in it? I’m wanting to make this, but don’t want to mess up and not include baking powder if it is needed.
Must try these! Thanks for linking up with the Delicious Dishes Recipe party!
I would say it’s too early in the morning to be tempted by these but if they were here I’d devour them. The tiny crackle of the glaze is mouthwatering! Great recipe and pictures!
Yum! This is pinned for getting in the fall spirit! :)
