Deep Fried Banana Bites

The hubby found a great deal on bananas this week at Aldi. I was needing to think of a few desserts to whip up with all of them. The kids took some in lunches, and I munched on a few. What was I to do with all of these bananas? Fair foods are some of my favorite desserts. We love Funnel Cakes and have been thinking about making my own homemade fried Oreo Cookies (yummy). But the one fair food that I have been dreaming of making at home was Fried Banana Bites. Have you ever tried them? They are over the top delish.

Fried banana bites are simple to make at home. They will be great to make use of all of the bananas I had on hand. These little bites are so super simple and make for a great dessert. They look super tasty and decadent when you dress them with powdered sugar, caramel and add on a small scoop of ice cream.

The only ingredients needed to make this yummy dessert are bananas, pancake mix (you can use my Hommemade Pancake Mix Recipe), milk and egg. I did add in a bit of vanilla to my pancake mix to give a bit of extra sweetness. The vanilla is not needed but toss it in if you have it on hand.

Dip each banana slice in batter and allow excess to drip off.
