If you are a fan of Texas Roadhouse you are going to LOVE this CopyCat Texas Roadhouse Rolls with Cinnamon Honey Butter Recipe. I vividly recall my first visit to Texas Roadhouse the summer that I moved here to Cincinnati. Oh my! I was in love with the place as soon as I enjoyed my first Roll with butter. After enjoying that meal I was addicted. I am a HUGE fan of bread and rolls. This addiction to Texas Roadhouse is a similar addiction to my love for Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits. After making those at home, I no longer needed to head to Red Lobster.

Thanks for your recipe. Will go great with the brisket I’m smoking for my husband’s 50th birthday.
The yeast instructions threw me off a little. It says 2 1/4 tsp or 1 packet. The packets I buy at the grocery store say .25 oz, which equates to 1/4 tsp. I think the instructions should say “2 1/4 tsp or 2 packets”. Needless to say, I only used one packet, and they were HEAVY :(
.25 is referring to the weight of the packet not the volume. A package of yeast has 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast. They were probably heavy b/c too much flour was used. Any recipe I come across I use half the amount of flour called for then I add as needed to get a proper consistency
I’m thrown off too. So I used 2 packets. The dough is rising now and I am praying I didn’t screw it up. I thought it was on error because each pack each said 1/4…. ugggh my fault
