Oreo Fluff
I know there are plenty of folks out there who will say “Dessert salads aren’t salads.” For those people, all I can say is that I really don’t care- dessert salads are delicious! You can find all sorts of recipes here on the site for different dessert salads but some of my favorites are dessert fluffs or fluff salads. I figured “why not make a fluff for one of my favorite cookies?” That’s how we got today’s recipe: OREO Fluff.
Like any good fluff salad, this Oreo dessert is equal parts creamy and fluffy- you can thank the Cool Whip and pudding for that. Add into that plenty of crushed OREO cookies and you’ve got a dessert that’s simple, easy, and- most importantly- delicious! You’ve really got to try this recipe for yourselves: I know you’ll love it!

Oreo Dessert Salad Ingredients
-
OREO Cookies – Obviously, there’s nothing stopping you from trying this recipe with different OREO flavors! Maybe try using the Lemon Oreos or- for a fun Easter dessert- some of the Carrot Cake Oreos if you can find them.
-
Vanilla Pudding Mix – Again, you can try other flavors here. Vanilla will be your safest bet but I’d love to see how maybe a cheesecake pudding would’ve worked. That or you could double down on the chocolate flavor with a chocolate pudding!
-
Milk
-
Frozen Whipped Topping – Like a Cool Whip or something similar.
How to make Oreo Fluff
-
Combine your milk and pudding mix and whisk until it thickens up.
-
Fold in your frozen whipped topping with most of your OREO cookies after crushing them.
-
Let chill in the fridge for about an hour before topping with reserved crushed Oreos and serving.
Before we get our salad mixed up and made, we need to prep a couple of ingredients first: we need to make our pudding and crush our cookies. The pudding is easy enough- just add the pudding and the milk to a mixing bowl and get to whisking. In just a couple of minutes, you should have a thick pudding ready for our fluff! After that, crush up your Oreos. You could do this in a food processor or by putting your cookies in a plastic bag and crushing them by hand, with a rolling pin, or just a wooden handle!
From here, all we’ve got to do is mix everything together. Start by folding your Cool Whip into the pudding you just made.
Next, add in most of your crushed Oreos. You’ll want to save some for topping/garnishing later.
Now you’ll want to cover and transfer this thing to the fridge to chill for a little bit. Try to give this thing at least an hour- up to overnight is best!
Once chilled, pull your OREO Fluff from the fridge and top it with the leftover crushed cookies- maybe a couple of whole ones as well. If you’re wondering “How long is Oreo Fluff good for,” you can expect this stuff to last about 3-5 days in the fridge if kept covered. Hope you enjoy!
