- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Onion diced
- 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 24 oz jar Spaghetti Sauce
- 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
- 6 oz Tomato Paste
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp Dried Basil
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 2 tsp Parsley FLakes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 8 cup Chicken Broth
- 12 Lasagna Noodles uncooked and broken into pieces
- Cheese Garnish:
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
Brown ground beef in a large heavy pot over medium heat.
Add garlic, onion and pepper flakes and cook 2-3 minutes.
Drain excess grease.
Add spaghetti sauce, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, spices and chicken broth.
Stir to combine.
Add broken lasagna noodles.
Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer, stirring occasionally for 1 hour.
Mix cheeses together and garnish each serving with a dollop.
