- 12 oz frozen Peas thawed
- 12 oz frozen Pearl Onions thawed
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Sugar
In a skillet or saucepan, melt the butter.
Stir in the flour until blended making a roux.
Gradually add milk while whisking.
Add salt, pepper, garlic powder and sugar and whisk to blend.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, add peas and onions.
Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes until heat through.
