Cinnamon Roll Poke Cake is an easy cake recipe packed with rich & sweet cinnamon roll flavor. So tasty with delicious cream cheese frosting! You can’t pass up on this rich and moist poke cake recipe.
Prepare the cake as directed on the cake box using the prepared pan.
Allow the cake to cool until slightly warm.
Poke holes all over the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon.
In a large measuring cup or microwave-safe bowl, combine 5 tablespoons of butter, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, brown sugar, cinnamon, and sweetened condensed milk.
Stir until all the ingredients are combined. Microwave for 45 seconds then stir.
Repeat until all clumps are dissolved.
Pour the mixture evenly over the top of the cake.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
Add the 8 tablespoons of butter and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and beat until blended (scraping down sides as needed).
Add the powdered sugar about one half a cup at a time, until incorporated.
Spread the frosting over the cake and smooth.
