Christmas Oreos
Chocolate covered Christmas Oreos are so easy to make! The recipe only requires 3 ingredients, are fun to make, and are a festive addition to Christmas cookie boards, exchanges or gift giving. I'll show you how to decorate them with a simple chocolate Christmas tree.

- 15 Oreo Cookies
- 6 oz White Melting Chips
- 3 oz Green Melting Wafers
- 15 Candy Stars tree toppers
- 1/4 cup Chocolate Jimmies (optional) for tree trunk
Line a pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Melt white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl by heating for 30 seconds then stirring (repeat until melted).
Dip each Oreo halfway in the white chocolate and set on prepared pan.
In another microwave safe bowl, melt green wafers by heat for 30 seconds, stirring an repeating until done.
Transfer green chocolate to piping bag or zippered bag.
Cut a very small opening in the bag.
Using a back and forth motion, draw a green tree on each cookie.
Top each tree with a star and use the jimmies to make the trunk.
- If you prefer to use white chocolate chips for dipping and decorating, you will need to add a tsp of shortening to your chips. They will take a bit longer to harden. You will also need to add green good coloring.
- Be creative and go with a few different designs on the tops of the Oreo Cookie.
- Go ahead and do a full dip of melted chocolate to cover the Oreo if you choose.
- If your melting chocolates seem a bit thick, melt in a small amount of shortening to thin the chocolate.
- Use a piping bag or a zipper bag with a tiny corner cut off for decorating.
