Baked Apples
Baked Apples are a sweet, warm & melty apple dessert recipe you'll love. An easy to make tasty fall dessert- don't forget some ice cream! It makes for the perfect Thanksgiving dessert or sweet side dish.

Instructions
Grease an 8x8" baking dish. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350.
Core and peel apples and cut into slices. You can toss in lemon juice to reduce browning.
In a large bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cornstarch.
Add sliced apples to bowl and toss to coat evenly.
Transfer apples to prepared dish.
Top with butter pats.
Cover with foil and bake for one hour, until apples are brown and soft.
Notes
Baking times will vary for this apple casserole. Depending on the thickness and type of apples used and also your oven.
