Crock Pot Lasagna

Crock Pot Lasagna is such a rich, creamy, meaty and filling dish! This super easy recipe for lasagna makes for a great easy weeknight dinner. Just build it up in your slow cooker, set it and forget it, and enjoy a delicious pasta dish without all the hassle.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 48 oz Spaghetti Sauce 2 jars
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 lb Lasagna Noodles
  • 15 oz Ricotta Cheese
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Water

Instructions

  • Grease the crock of your slow cooker. Set aside.
  • Crumble ground beef into a large skillet.
  • Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Cook over medium high heat until browned.
  • Drain any exceess grease.
  • Add spaghetti sauce, oregano and basil to pan and stir to combine.
  • Put a layer of sauce in bottom of the crock.
  • Place a layer of noodles next.
  • Then a layer of ricotta and mozzarella.
  • Repeat these layers until crock pot is full (3-4 sets of layers).
  • Pour water in on the sides.
  • Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.

Notes

Keep the lid on your slow cooker while cooking (no peeking, lol). This will keep the heat and moisture in.
