Pineapple Sauce

This Pineapple Sauce recipe is perfect for adding a tropical twist to desserts like ice cream, cakes or cheesecake. It’s also great on ham and chicken! Since it is made with just 3 ingredients, this topping can be made quick and easy!

Ingredients

  • 20 oz Crushed Pineapple
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions

  • Drain pineapple juice into a small saucepan.
  • Add sugar and cornstarch. Whisk to combine.
  • Cook over medium-low heat until dissolved and syrup begins to thicken (about 5 minutes).
  • Add pineapple and continue to cook over medium-low heat for about 12-15 minutes, until sauce has thickened further.
  • Allow to cool.
