Instant Pot Rice

Instant Pot Rice is the easiest way to cook up white, basmati, or jasmine rice. This is the perfect recipe for bowls, burritos, and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup White Rice long grain
  • 1 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Rinse rice in cold water, then drain.
  • In the Instant Pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt. Stir.
  • Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
  • After cooking is finished, allow the rice to sit for 10 minutes before doing a quick pressure release.
  • Fluff rice with a fork.

Notes

Be sure to wash your rice with water first- Rinsing washes off excess starches- mostly on the surface of the rice grains.
