Sugared Cranberries

This Sugared Cranberry Recipe is so super simple, requiring just 2 ingredients. You will find them both tangy and sweet, perfect for snacking or garnishing your holiday treats.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Sugar divided
  • 1 cup Water
  • 12 oz Fresh Cranberries

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, heat water and 1 cup sugar over medium heat to boiling.
  • Keep just at boil for 10 minutes or until it just thickens slightly.
  • Allow to cool for 15 minutes.
  • Line cookie sheet with foil and place cooling rack over foil lined sheet.
  • Toss batches of cranberries in syrup to coat and transfer to rack to dry until all are covered.
  • Allow to dry for 30-45 minutes.
  • Fill a shallow dish with remaining cup of sugar.
  • Toss batches of coated cranberries in sugar and roll to coat.
