Garlic Steak Kabobs

Garlic Steak Kabobs are a delicious combo of sirloin, onion, peppers and mushrooms. These tasty skewers are great for grilling and barbecues!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sirloin Steak
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 8 oz Mushrooms white or button
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Parsley

Instructions

  • Cut steak into 1" cubes.
  • Remove seeds and cut pepper into 1" pieces.
  • Cut red onion into 1" pieces.
  • Heat a grill to medium high heat.
  • Insert meat, onion, pepper and mushroom onto skewers.
  • Brush the assembled skewers with olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning about every 5 minutes
  • Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl by heating for 1 minute, stirring and repeating until done.
  • Add the garlic and set aside.
  • Brush the cooked kabobs with garlic butter and sprinkle with minced parsley.

Notes

If using wooden skewers be sure to soak them in water before loading them with meat and veggies. This will be keep them from burning.
