Ingredients
1lbdried Navy Beans
6cupWater
1Oniondiced
10slicesBacondiced
3/4cupBBQ Sauce
1/2cupBrown Sugar
2tbspYellow Mustard
2tbspWorcestershire Sauce
1 1/2tspSaltdivided
1/2tspGarlic Powder
1/2tspChili Powder
1tspVinegar
3/4cupKetchup
Instructions
Sort beans to remove debris and rinse and drain.
Place beans, 6 cups of water and 1 teaspoon salt in Instant Pot and cook on Bean setting for 60 minutes.
Allow to naturally release pressure.
Drain and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, remaining salt, garlic powder, chili powder, vinegar and ketchup.
Whisk until blended and set aside.
Put Instant Pot on Saute (medium) add bacon.
Cook until rendered then add onion and cook until onion is transparent and bacon is cooked.
Drain excess grease if desired.
Add beans and sauce to Instant Pot and stir to combine.
Set Instant Pot on slow cooker setting and cook for 30 minutes.
