3 Ingredient Sausage Balls are so simple to make with Bisquick, sausage and cheese. These are the best party appetizer: perfect for game day! Goes great with a side of 3 Ingredient BBQ Sauce or 3 Ingredient Honey Mustard for dipping.

Equipment

  • 1 Stand Mixer

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 lb Spicy Breakfast Sausage
  • 2 1/2 cup Bisquick Mix

Instructions

  • Shred half of the cheese and place in the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Crumble sausage and add to bowl.
  • Add 1 1/2 cup of baking mix.
  • Mix on low with paddle blade until blended.
  • Shred and add the remainder of the cheese and the remainder of the Bisquick.
  • Mix on low with paddle blade until blended.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Shap mixture into 1" balls and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-24 minutes, until bottom of balls are starting to brown.
  • Tranfer to paper towel line tray to remove excess grease.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Use a quality fatty sausage for your appetizer balls. The fat helps bind the ingredients.
