Breakfast Sausage Patties

Making Homemade Breakfast Sausage Patties is so easy. This recipe is full of flavor and so much better than store-bought! Serve them with eggs, french toast, pancakes, on a muffin or biscuit.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sage
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 lb Ground Pork

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except the pork.
  • Whisk to evenly distribute.
  • Add the pork and mix until spices are well distributed through the meat.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Evenly divide the mixture into 8 portions and form into patties.
  • Cook in a skillet over medium heat about 4 minutes per side (until sausage is browned on each side and internal temperature is 160.

Notes

Be sure to use a meat thermometer to check for internal temperature of 160 Degrees.
