Turtle Pie

Turtle Pie is a delicious no-bake dessert loaded with chocolate, caramel, and nutty flavors. Tastes just like the classic turtle candy! You’re going to love this cold and creamy dessert recipe- especially the easy Oreo Pie Crust it’s all sitting on.

Ingredients

Oreo Crust

  • 30 Oreo Cookies
  • 6 tbsp melted Butter

Pie Filling

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Toppings

  • 2-3 tbsp Caramel Sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp Chocolate Syrup
  • Whipped Cream
  • 1/4 cup Pecans

Instructions

  • Grease a 9 inch pie pan and set aside.
  • Add the Oreos to a food processor and pulse until they are crushed to fine crumbs.
  • Add the melted butter and pulse to mix.
  • Transfer the mixture into prepared pan and press into an even layer on the bottom and up the sides.
  • Refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes before filling.
  • In a large bowl beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
  • Add in the caramel, powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Beat until combined and smooth. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Add cream cheese mixture to whipped cream and fold to combine.
  • Evenly spoon the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  • Drizzle the top with with caramel sauce and chocolate syrup.
  • Decorate with dollops of whipped cream and garnish with pecans.
  • Refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

Notes

Be sure to never over beat the heavy whipping cream. Only beat until stiff peaks form. Over beating will cause the whipped cream to collapse.
