Ham and Bean Soup
If you've got any leftover ham from the holidays, our Ham and Bean Soup recipe is an easy way to put those leftovers to good use! Grab your favorite pot or dutch oven for this quick and hearty stove top soup.
- 1 Onion diced
- 1 Carrot diced
- 1 stalk of Celery
- 1 tbsp minced Garlic
- 2 cup Cooked Ham diced
- 32 oz Vegetable Broth
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 3 15 oz can Northern Beans drain and rinse
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- Salt and Pepper to taste
In a large pot over medium heat, add everything but the broth.
Stir to mix everything well.
Add broth and raise temperature to medium high and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
