Everything Bagel Crescent Dogs

If you need a super tasty appetizer, you will want to make these "Everything Bagel" Pigs in a Blanket. They are easy to make with store-bought crescents, little wieners or smokies, and our homemade "everything" seasoning. Serve them as is or with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 24 Little Wieners
  • 1 roll Crescent Rolls
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds
  • 3 tsp Dried Chopped Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  • Place roll of crescent rolls in freezer for 10 minutes prior to working with them. Don't leave in longer or they won't unroll.
  • Open wieners, drain any liquid and dry with paper towels.
  • Preheat oven 375.
  • In a small bowl, combine garlic, sesame, poppy, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  • In another small bowl, whisk together egg and water. Set aside.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate each triangle.
  • Cut each triangle into thirds.
  • Roll each wiener in crescent dough, and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg wash.
  • Generously sprinkle with spice mixture.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
