Crockpot Candy

Make this CrockPot Candy for the holidays! It's so easy and requires minimal effort. Homemade candy is inexpensive and great to gift for Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb White Candy Coating almond bark
  • 12 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 4 oz German Baking Chocolate bar chopped
  • 32 oz Salted Dry Roasted Peanuts

Instructions

  • Heavily grease the slow cooker with shortening.
  • Pour the chocolate chips into slow cooker.
  • Chop the almond bark into small pieces and add to the slow cooker.
  • Before placing the lid, add a double layer of paper towels to the top of the slow cooker to collect moisture.
  • Cook on low for about 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
  • After the chocolate has melted, add the German Chocolate Bar and stir until melted.
  • Add the peanuts and stir until evenly coated.
  • Line several baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Scoop out tablespoon sized portions and place on prepared sheets.
  • Add sprinkles, if desired.
  • Allow to cool.
