Instant Pot Ground Beef

Grab your pressure cooker to quickly make this Instant Pot Frozen Ground Beef. There is no need to wait for the meat to thaw. The recipe is great for making tacos, spaghetti, chili or even casseroles for dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1-3 lbs Ground Beef

Instructions

  • our 1 cup water in Instant Pot.
  • Place trivet in bottom
  • Add frozen ground beef.
  • Close cook on high pressure for 20 minutes for 1 pound, 25 for 2 pounds, or 30 for 3 pounds.
  • Quick release pressure and test to see if center is cooked and internal temperature has reached 160.
  • If not reseal and cook on high for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Drain liquid and discard.
  • Break up meat to crumbles.
