Baked Apple Pork Chops
These Baked Apple Pork Chops are a super simple family dinner idea. The perfect recipe for fall. The apple compliments the pork so well. You can use Boneless or Bone-in Pork Chops.

- 4 lb Bone In Pork Chops or 3 lb Boneless
- 3 medium Granny Smith Apples cored and sliced
- 1 medium Onion diced
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider or Apple Juice
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Sage
Preheat oven to 400.
Melt butter in large skillet over medium high heat.
Season both sides of each pork chop with salt, pepper and sage.
Sear both sides of each chop until brown and set on a deep baking sheets.
In a small bowl add cider and brown sugar and whisk until dissolved.
Add onion, apples and cider mixture to skillet and stir to loosen browned bits from bottom of skillet. Stir until combined,
Simmer over medium low heat for 10 minutes, until apples start to soften.
Spoon apple mixture over pork chops in baking sheets and bake for 20 minutes.
